BTEC Specialist qualifications are work-related qualifications available from Entry to Level 3 in a range of sectors. They give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to prepare for employment in a specific occupational area.

This excellent Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) course will prepare learners to work in education and training. Gain practical teaching skills, and develop an understanding of working in education.

Learners will attend this course via Live Online Classes. All you need is your computer, laptop, or iPad, and internet connection, and you can attend seminars from anywhere!

Every session consists of a two hour lecture, and a 30 minute Q&A and discussion section. Learners will be given a 5-10 minute break after the first hour of the seminar.

When can I start?

This Live Online course consists of 20 teaching hours conducted in 5 consecutive weeks. There is a two hour session two days per week (please see schedule below). They are interactive sessions with a tutor and your fellow students, and students can ask questions in real time. 30 minutes of every session is dedicated to a Q&A section.  Learners will be expected to deliver Micro teaching live online by cooperating with peers in their group (batch).

Who is the course aimed at?

As this course is entry-level, it is ideally suited to those who are not currently teaching or training. It is also helpful for anyone who is currently, or has just begun teaching or training. Not only that, this course would also be beneficial for those working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification.

What are the entry requirements?

♦ You need to be at least 19 years old

♦ You should have a basic grasp of English, Maths and IT

You will receive an accredited Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) certificate upon successful completion of the course.

Career Path

Those who successfully complete this Level 3 Award in Education and Training can go on to Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.

In addition, anyone who holds this Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualifies you to be an Assessor, Teacher, or Trainer. For any of these positions you’ll command a high salary and will be in demand. The average salary of a Teacher in the UK is £27,995 per annum.
