What is person-centred care all about? It is a term that was coined in the 1940s to indicate how service users feel about customised care. The Person-Centred Care course aims to teach you what it means to tailor your services to meet the requirements of service users. The objective is to demonstrate that you care for the people in your care, rather than the focus being on the service itself. You will learn to identify the needs of people in your care, support and meet their requirements to ensure they lead happy and fulfilling lives. This is a fantastic course to get started on if you wish to or already work in the health and social care sectors.
Key modules will be fully explored and you will be equipped with the relevant skills and knowledge of what it means to understand the individual’s wishes, respect their privacy and uphold their dignity. You will learn how to deliver and be successful at person-centred care in your day to day duties. The end goal is to work towards ensuring the best interest of your service users are prioritised at all times.

In order to qualify in the course ‘Person-Centred Care’ successfully, learners will take an online test. This online test is marked automatically, so you will receive an instant grade and know whether you have passed the course.
Pass Mark: 70%
Special Note:
You are given 3 attempts at each module. If a module is failed on the third attempt, it will become locked and you need to contact us for the module to be unlocked again. You are only permitted up to 3 extra attempts per course.
Learners can take the exam up to 3 times, and if not successful, should repay the course fee and start again.
Upon the successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the ‘Person-Centred Care’ Certificate.
Access Duration
The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course. Â The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lessons at any time.
