What does duty of care mean? The simple understanding is to look after people in one’s care, whether it is your patients or staff. Duty of care is vital particularly if you work in the health and social care sectors. The Duty of Care course is designed to teach you how to ensure service users are prioritised at all times, and that you demonstrate you have their best interest at heart.
