Children and young people are a vulnerable group of people, which is why the responsibility of protecting and safeguarding them usually falls on the others surrounding them. Not just protecting them from physical harm, it the responsibility of the society to safeguard them from emotional and mental harm as well. Therefore, this Diploma in Children and Young People Protection – Level 2 Certification has been developed to help parents, aspiring childcare workers, and professionals working with children to better ensure their safety and health.
This course will first start off with a detailed explanation of safeguarding children and young people. You will get to learn the meaning, importance and responsibilities associated with it. This course will also educate you on the stages of development in children and young people so that you can promote effective learning in them.
Children and young people should be guided from the early years to lead a proper and sickness free life. They should be taught on the importance of health and foods that might affect their health. Therefore, this course has generously included a few modules that will explore how to encourage children to lead a healthy lifestyle. You will also be taught on how to ensure children’s and young people’s safety and on how to promote inclusion and diversity among the children.

Please Note: Additionally, a total of £49 is charged for the assessment and certificate, and you need to pay that when submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially upon registering). This payment can be made in 02 installments.
